Edgar “9Class” Naltakyan, a player for the PARIVISION Dota 2 team, has released a comprehensive message to his fans. In a post on Telegram, the esports athlete mentioned his desire to share much more with his audience but explained that he is restricted “in the interests of the team and competition.”
He stated that entering professional esports means he can no longer freely share information due to team strategy and competitive integrity. He noted the increased scrutiny from other teams, emphasizing that sharing insights could inadvertently help opponents prepare.
9Class mentioned noticing how quickly other players adopted his strategies, such as playing Stalker 4, after he showcased it. This observation reinforced his decision to limit detailed hero guides, even for new or innovative strategies. He also referenced the example of Venomancer in the jungle, a strategy that gained popularity, although not originally his idea, but was frequently banned against him in tournaments.
Looking ahead, 9Class expressed his intention to increase lifestyle content on his channel, including stream announcements and reviews of books he has read, framing it as more of a personal diary. He reaffirmed his commitment to managing his channel independently, prioritizing authenticity over purely commercial strategies.
Previously, Naltakyan had shared his opinions on the most toxic players in public matchmaking within the professional Dota 2 scene, even including himself on that list.
