ZA/UM has presented C4, a spy role-playing thriller in the spirit of Disco Elysium. A teaser for the project has been released on the studio’s YouTube channel.

It is known that the game is not a direct sequel to Disco Elysium but will share many common features with the company’s previous title. Players will take on the role of an Operative who serves a “controversial global power” and will be engaged in the search for “truth and influence.” The developers emphasize that the central place in C4 will be occupied by the mind, which is more fragile than the real world and can be “erased, changed, or remade.”

Writers Siim Sinamäe and Jim Ashilevi emphasize that the game will be significantly different from Disco Elysium, and add that failures will play an important role. These failures will not lead to the end of the playthrough but can bring joy in themselves, making each player’s choice meaningful.

At the time of publication, C4 does not have a release date or a list of target platforms. The developers promise to provide more details later, but do not specify any timeframe.
