Control Ultimate Edition has been updated to patch 1.30, now available on PC and new generation consoles. This update grants Ultimate Edition owners access to the mission “Dr. Yoshimi Tokui’s Guided Imagery Experience,” a mission developed with the participation of the renowned game designer Hideo Kojima.
This mission was initially exclusive to the Digital Deluxe edition on PlayStation 4. As promised, the developers have now made this content available to all Ultimate Edition players. To begin the mission, players must locate Dr. Tokui’s film reel, found within the extrasensory laboratory in the research sector. Notably, Hideo Kojima himself provided voice work for these in-game recordings. Beyond this new mission, Control also includes new costumes, enhanced graphical settings, and full support for DLSS and DLAA technologies.
The original Control launched in 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Subsequently, cloud versions for Nintendo Switch and dedicated versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S were released. The game has also received two story-driven expansions.
