Katie Boulter humorously teased her fiancé, Alex de Minaur, following their loss in a mixed doubles match.
Boulter joked that playing together would be a “second and last time” for her and her partner.

The couple from Britain and Australia were defeated by the American team of Emma Navarro and Ben Shelton on Wednesday.
They participated in the Eisenhower Cup in Indian Wells, an exhibition event leading up to the BNP Paribas Open this week.
The tournament matches have a fast format, with teams playing a ten-point tie-break.
Boulter and De Minaur were once tied at six points, but Shelton and Navarro took the lead after capitalizing on a mis-hit by De Minaur.
The US team won after a rally where De Minaur narrowly missed a fast backhand from Shelton.
After the match, Boulter was asked if it was her first time playing doubles with De Minaur.
The British number one quipped: “Second… and last time.”
She was then questioned if De Minaur played well during the match.
Boulter defended her fiancé, saying: “No, he did! He was great!”
She further added, “I thought he was going to chase some shots but he left them for me. So that was awesome.”

De Minaur jokingly responded: “To be honest, every ball I touched with my racket, I missed, so I thought it would be better if she hit every ball.”
De Minaur had previously suggested that he and Boulter might play together more often in the future at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
Both Boulter and De Minaur have received first-round byes for the singles tournaments.
The tennis power couple has been dating since 2020 and announced their engagement in late 2024.
