Nathan “NBK” Schmitt, a professional CS2 player, will be working as an analyst at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025. The esportsman announced on X that this will be his first time officially joining a broadcast team.

Alongside NBK, the English-language analyst team for BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 will feature Jacob “Pimp” Winneche, Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenburg, and Don “voo” Parkhurst. James “BanKs” Banks and Freya “Freya” Spiers will host the broadcasts. Mohan “launders” Govindasamy and Conner “Scrawny” Girvan, as well as Alex “Machine” Richardson and Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill, will be the commentators for the matches.

NBK has previously provided commentary on CS2 tournaments, including EMS One Katowice 2014 and ESL One Cologne 2014. However, in those instances, he was attending the championships as a player and participated in broadcasts as a studio guest.

BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 is scheduled to take place from March 19th to 30th. The group stage will be held at the tournament operator’s studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, while the playoffs will be at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. Sixteen teams will compete for a $400,000 prize pool.
