Netflix is preparing to release a remake of the horror film “Cujo,” based on the novel of the same name.
Stephen King’s “Cujo,” originally published in 1981, tells the story of a kind St. Bernard who turns into a monster after being infected with rabies and starts hunting people. Information regarding the release date and cast of the new adaptation is not yet available. Roy Lee, known for his work on “Doctor Sleep” and “It,” will produce the film.
The first film adaptation of “Cujo” was released in 1983 and garnered average ratings, receiving a score of 6.1 out of 10 from IMDb users and 6.4 out of 10 from Kinopoisk users.
