The organizers of the Esports World Cup have released information about the upcoming Riyadh Masters 2025, a Dota 2 tournament within the major esports festival in Saudi Arabia. The championship will be held from July 7th to 20th, and will feature a prize pool of $3 million.
Sixteen teams will compete at Riyadh Masters 2025. Gaimin Gladiators, as the reigning champions, have received the first direct invitation. Eight more slots will be awarded to the top teams in the ESL rankings. Additionally, the tournament will include one winner from the qualifiers for each of the following regions: Eastern Europe, Western Europe, North America, South America, Southeast Asia, MESA, and China.
Riyadh Masters 2025 will be conducted in four stages. In the first stage, participants will be divided into four groups for a round-robin format. Twelve teams will advance to the next stage and will be seeded into a Gauntlet format based on their previous results. The top eight teams will then compete in a single-elimination playoff bracket.
