Sanju Samson has rejoined the Rajasthan Royals (RR) team on Monday following his finger surgery last month.
Samson had been undergoing rehabilitation at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. It is currently uncertain whether he will immediately take up wicket-keeping duties. Dhruv Jurel is being considered as a potential option for wicket-keeping if Samson is not yet fully fit for the role.
Jurel previously took over wicket-keeping responsibilities for Samson during the fifth T20I against England in February. This was after Samson sustained a blow to his finger from a delivery by Jofra Archer while batting.

Riyan Parag is also set to feature for RR, having fully recovered from a shoulder injury. After recovering from the injury that kept him out of the T20Is against South Africa and England, the batting all-rounder returned to action in the second phase of the Ranji Trophy. He scored a half-century in the first innings and bowled 26 overs against Saurashtra.
Following their first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad on March 23, RR will play consecutive home matches against Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings in Guwahati on March 26 and March 30, respectively.
