Danny “zonic” Sørensen, coach of the Team Falcons Counter-Strike 2 team, has commented on his squad’s elimination from ESL Pro League Season 21. He shared his reflections in a post-match interview following their game against Eternal Fire.

“It was a difficult game and a challenging tournament. We couldn’t maintain the form we found in Cluj-Napoca. I want to thank the guys for their hard work and dedication. We poured our hearts and souls into this match, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.”

[Interviewer’s question: ‘Sometimes, the opposing team has a player who is simply unstoppable. For example, woxic on Inferno seemed to hit every shot.’]. “Yes, that’s true, it happens. On the other hand, some of our rivals might say the same thing about NiKo. Having players who are capable of taking over a game is always a valuable asset. Ultimately, we just couldn’t find our footing in this tournament.”

Team Falcons were defeated by Eternal Fire in the fifth round of the second group stage of the championship with a score of 1:2. zonic’s team finished the tournament in 9th-11th place.
